Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Surgical ICU – Kansas

Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Highlights:

• 26-bed Surgical ICU with 1:2 patient ratios; 1:1 for high-acuity patients including post-CABG
• Advanced equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia therapy, and ECMO
• Diverse case mix: trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU cases
• Hands-on experience with chest tubes, central lines, and critical medication drips
• Meditech EMR system
• Collaborative team environment with experienced nursing staff

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• Active Kansas RN license or ability to obtain
• TNCC certification preferred
• Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
