Role Description The Retail Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Fort Mill, SC, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail shop within the Cracker Barrel location. This role includes leading and coaching retail team members, managing merchandising and product displays, and ensuring inventory levels meet guest demand. The Retail Manager monitors sales performance, implements promotional activities, and upholds brand standards to create an inviting shopping experience. Day‑to‑day responsibilities also include scheduling, training, and supporting staff, addressing guest inquiries, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe retail environment in alignment with company policies. Qualifications Experience in retail management or supervisory roles, including overseeing daily store operations and leading teams. Strong skills in customer service, guest relations, and conflict resolution to ensure a positive shopping experience. Ability to manage merchandising, inventory control, and visual presentation to support sales goals. Proficiency in basic business and sales analysis, including tracking performance metrics and implementing improvements. Effective communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills to develop and support a diverse team. Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak business hours. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, retail management, or hospitality is a plus.
