Nurse - Care - Night - Nursing

Registered Nurse – Float Location: 5401 Old Court Road, Randallstown, MD (Northwest Hospital) Schedule: Full‑time with Weekend Commitment. Day shift: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm. Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. It includes assessing, planning, and implementing age‑appropriate care for assigned patients each shift and at the unit level. The role is responsible for supervising staff to whom care is delegated and supporting the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high‑quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, staff competency, and resource management related to patient care. Float pool nurses are assigned to one of the following patient care groupings and must be willing to work in all areas within a grouping: Critical Care (ICU/ICSD) Acute Care (GRC/SGOR/MONC/SUBACUTE) Telemetry (PCU/OBS) Emergency Department Qualifications Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. Maryland Registered Nurse License. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
