I've proudly owned my State Farm agency in Thief River Falls for over 16 years. During that time, we've built strong relationships with thousands of customers and established an agency that takes pride in helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. Our team consists of seven licensed professionals who bring experience, knowledge, and a genuine commitment to our customers. We work in a beautiful, modern office built in 2019, providing a welcoming and professional environment for both our customers and team. ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Customer Service Representative with Sally Wolff State Farm Agency, you'll play an important role in creating positive customer experiences and supporting the daily operations of our growing agency. You'll be one of the first points of contact for customers, helping answer questions, manage policy needs, and provide guidance when they need assistance. You'll also have opportunities to identify additional insurance needs and help customers better protect what matters most. We're looking for someone who is personable, dependable, organized, and enjoys working with people. The ideal candidate takes ownership of customer needs, communicates effectively, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Insurance experience is preferred but not required. We're willing to train the right person who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to learn!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide friendly, professional customer service by assisting with phone calls, walk-ins, policy questions, billing inquiries, and account needs. Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring accurate and timely follow-up on requests and policy changes. Assist customers with claims questions, coverage reviews, and identifying additional insurance needs. Recognize opportunities to recommend appropriate insurance products, schedule customer reviews, and contribute to agency growth. Work collaboratively with team members to meet customer service and agency goals while maintaining accurate records and continuing professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Positive attitude, dependability, and strong work ethic. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, email, and in person. Willingness to take initiative, accept coaching, and work as part of a team. Comfortable identifying customer needs and discussing insurance products and services. Previous experience in insurance, banking, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required. Minnesota Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses are required. Candidates not currently licensed must be willing to obtain the required licenses within an established timeframe.

COMPENSATION

$40,000–$55,000 annually , based on experience and qualifications, plus eligible performance-based bonuses and incentives.
