Assistant General Manager

Assistant General Manager Reports To General Manager Job Summary As Assistant General Manager, you’ll be the operational backbone of the shop. You’ll work alongside the General Manager to run day‑to‑day service, keep our inventory and ordering airtight, and most importantly, enforce the structure that lets our team do their best work. This role is for someone who sees a messy process and can’t rest until there’s a system for it. Responsibilities Lead daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, shift management, and floor supervision Own inventory management end to end: counts, par levels, ordering, receiving, and vendor relationships Build and document systems, checklists, and processes that make the shop run smoother every week Support, coach, and communicate clearly with team members across front and back of house Serve as a key communication link between staff, management, and guests Help maintain food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 2–3 years of managerial experience, ideally in a restaurant or food service setting Hands‑on experience with inventory management and ordering Availability to work 25–30 hours per week A genuine love of structure.
