OPEN POSITION:

Director of Community Outreach - Outside Sales Role

SCHEDULE:

- Full-Time

- 40 Hours per Week

- Occasional Weekends and Evenings

- Flexibility Offered

COMPENSATION:

- $80,000 to $85,000 Base Salary, dependent on experience

- Monthly Commission

- 20% Annual Bonus

- Additional Performance-Based Bonuses

Kensington, Maryland

COMPANY PROFILE:

Founded in 2010, this organization currently operates eight (8) senior living communities across four (4) states. Their facilities boast exceptional services in independent living, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, and more.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Director of Community Outreach leads the sales strategy and processes to achieve or exceed budgeted occupancy and average-rate goals. The Director provides strategic direction, performance oversight, and hands-on coaching to strengthen sales execution, prospect engagement, and organizational accountability.

Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- build relationships with community members and prospective residents

- assess potential resident needs and formulate appropriate responses

- maintain timely, accurate, and complete sales records

- document lead activity, contact information, occupancy forecasts, etc.

- achieve or exceed budgeted occupancy, move-in, revenue, and conversion goals

- monitor performance trends

- maintain an active sales pipeline

- develop timely corrective action plans when results fall below target

- conduct ongoing competitive and market analyses

- translate analyses into actionable recommendations for sales and marketing plans

- recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate team members as needed

The Director will work closely with clinical and administrative leadership across the organization, providing regular updates on activity and projections.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required

- 5+ years sales and marketing leadership experience

- experience in the senior living industry strongly preferred

- experience in related fields accepted (home care, hospice, etc.)
