Educational Assistant (Paraprofessional) – St. Francis Area Schools  – St. Francis, MN
Location: St. Francis, Minnesota (Cedar Creek Elementary)
School Year: ASAP – End of School Year (potential for renewal)

ProCare Therapy is seeking two full-time Educational Assistants to support a center-based special education program at Cedar Creek Elementary.

Position Overview
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
• Openings: 2
• Setting: Center-based special education classroom
• Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support
• Assist with academic instruction and behavior management
• Support activities of daily living (including toileting if needed)
• Implement IEP accommodations and behavior plans
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff

Minimum Qualifications
• Associate’s degree or higher, OR
• Minimum of 60 college credit hours, OR
• Passing score on ParaPro or equivalent assessment

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior paraprofessional experience
• Experience with ASD, EBD, or moderate–severe needs
• Familiarity with PBIS, ABA, CPI, or similar strategies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
