Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary Performs diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing CT and Radiology techniques, ensuring accurate and high-quality results for patient care. Key Responsibilities Review patient history and physician's orders to determine appropriate imaging procedures. Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exam process to ensure understanding and cooperation. Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications as ordered and within scope of practice. Continuously monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status. Prepare necessary equipment and supplies for imaging procedures. Adhere to safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoot, resolve, and report equipment malfunctions as needed. Position patients and perform requested imaging procedures. Analyze imaging results and identify issues with image quality. Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning and repeating procedures. Enter, transmit, and report scan results. Schedule / Shift (3) 12‑hour shifts per week, with 50% on‑call responsibilities and every‑other‑weekend rotation. Required Qualifications Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology. 2 years of recent experience in Radiology and CT. Experience 2 years of recent experience in Radiology and CT. Certifications BLS certification (American Heart Association). ARRT certification in RD and CT. Skills Proficiency in performing diagnostic imaging procedures using CT and Radiology techniques. Ability to prepare and administer contrast media and medications. Competence in patient monitoring and assessment. Skill in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment. Effective communication and patient education skills. Unit / Specialty Radiology / CT Department Floating / On-Call Required to float between X‑ray and CT departments. On‑call responsibilities are 50% with every‑other‑weekend rotation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
