About the Facility Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) is a healthcare facility in Phoenix, Arizona, dedicated to providing medical services to Native American and Alaska Native communities. Serving over 152,000 patients, PIMC offers a wide range of services, including primary care, specialty care, emergency care, dental care, behavioral health services, and wellness programs. The Tribes that comprise the Phoenix Service Unit include the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, San Lucy District of the Tohono O'odham Nation, Tonto Apache Tribe, Yavapai-Apache Indian Tribe, and Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe. 1. Fill prescription orders
2. Reconstitute and compound medication orders based on patient care needs and following Service Unit policies and procedures.
3. Fill clinic and ward drug supply orders
4. Maintain inventory of stock and I.V. bulk solutions
5. Prepackage medication into unit-of-dispensing sizes
6. Clinic and ward inspections
7. Dispense medication refills
8. Other related duties as assigned
9. The contractor's employee(s) shall participate in training and competency activities, including:
   • Annual safety and infection control
   • Other mandatory training as assigned

Pharmacy Technician - REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess an active certification from either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or from the National Healthcare Association (NHA) as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (ExCPT).
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) as approved by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• College-level training experience is desirable but not required.
• MUST be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
