About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Radiology Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 7:30 PM - 8:30 AM Hours per Shift: 11.5 Hours Experience: Minimum two (2) years of Med/Surg Radiology experience in a large acute care hospital setting, with the most recent experience within the past year. License: Client RN License & Primary Source Verification Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: - Physical assessment - Medication administration - Wound care - Infection control - IV therapy Description: Serve as a liaison between the patient and the medical team. Prepare patients for procedures. Start intravenous fluids to inject special dyes or contrast mediums into patients. Administer barium enemas or solutions before procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs or status during procedures to identify changes. Identify unexpected reactions in patients during procedures. Administer analgesia and sedation to patients upon instruction. Update the medical staff on a patient's status. Reassess patients after procedures.
