This role involves working closely with other hardware engineers, software engineers, and product teams to deliver high-functioning electrical solutions for residential and power products.This role follows a hybrid schedule, with 2–3 days per week onsite in Kohler, Wisconsin.Specific Responsibilities:Contribute to new product design and sustaining of analog, digital, RF and mixed signal electronic circuit designs for residential power systems.Collaborate with cross functional teams to execute development tasks board validation.Conduct hardware functional, environmental, and lifecycle validation to ensure reliability and performance.Contribute to product safety, EMC, and environmental compliance efforts.Participate in electrical hardware reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of product and development processes.Support hardware troubleshooting during product development and testing.Document electrical system design and implementation details.Use standard electronics laboratory tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMM to analyze, debug and document proper operation of electronic circuits and systems.Occasional development of custom electrical equipment for specialized features or functions.Collaborate in developing electrical hardware development tasks, project timelines and budgets.Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Required, Master's Degree is preferred1-2+ years of work experience dependent on educational backgroundExperience collaborating on technical teams developing electrical hardwareExperience with circuit capture and pcb design tools such as OrCadExperience with electronic circuit board modeling and simulation techniques such as PSpice.A working knowledge of microcontroller, microprocessor, memory, ADC and communications technologiesHigh level of motivation and ability to collaborate effectively in a team and independently to achieve resultsPreference to those who have the following:Experience with defining hardware requirements and ensuring traceability of testing to requirementsKnowledge of controls systems used for power systemsStrong communication skills across diverse audiencesExperience with design for wireless systems including technologies like BLE, Wi-Fi, ISM, and LTEApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.The Salary range for this position is $83,300.00-$105,200.00.
