As an Armed Security Officer at a resort-style community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to residents and guests. This driving post requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.16 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to guests, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following applicable laws, procedures, and use-of-force guidelines. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of resort grounds, lodging areas, recreational spaces, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, location management, emergency responders, and other authorized personnel. Minimum Requirements: Possess an Armed Guard Card or License. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
