Hours: Flex schedule, and must have open availability between the hours of 7a-5:30p. The position will be between 36-40 hours weekly.

Bilingual Spanish is required

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties:

• Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians during patient examinations.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and other health information.
• Administer injections, perform EKGs, collect blood and lab specimens, and conduct basic laboratory tests.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and medical supplies.
• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.

Administrative Duties:

• Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars for providers.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and check patients in/out.
• Process medical records and maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.
• Handle billing, coding, and basic office duties as required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred. Compensation depends on experience.
