Part-Time Merchandiser

Location: Robinson Township, Pittsburgh, PA
Position Type: Part-Time, 10–15 Hours Per Week
Compensation: $300 Per Week, Paid Weekly
Regular Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday
Typical Hours: Approximately 6:30 AM–9:30 AM

About the Position

We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Part-Time Merchandiser to join our distribution team.

The Merchandiser will service assigned retail locations and ensure bakery products are properly stocked, attractively displayed, rotated for freshness, and readily available to customers.

All assigned stores are located in Robinson Township , making this a convenient route with very limited driving between locations. The maximum distance between stores is approximately 2.2 miles , or about a 10-minute drive .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for steady supplemental income with a consistent morning schedule .

Schedule

The regular work schedule is:

• Monday: Approximately 6:30 AM–9:30 AM
• Tuesday: Approximately 6:30 AM–9:30 AM
• Thursday: Approximately 6:30 AM–9:30 AM
• Friday: Approximately 6:30 AM–9:30 AM
• Saturday: Approximately 6:30 AM–9:30 AM

The schedule is approximately 10–15 hours per week , depending on the needs of the assigned stores.

Additional Hours Available

There may occasionally be opportunities to earn additional income by working outside of the regular schedule.

Additional shifts may include:

• Sunday: Approximately 6:30 AM–9:30 AM
• Saturday evening: Approximately 9:00 PM–11:00 PM

These additional shifts are optional and based on business needs and availability. They are not guaranteed or required as part of the regular schedule.

Responsibilities

• Stock and merchandise bakery products at assigned retail locations.
• Keep shelves and displays full, clean, and organized.
• Rotate products using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Remove stale, damaged, or unsellable products.
• Build and maintain attractive product displays.
• Monitor inventory and communicate product needs or store issues.
• Develop professional relationships with store personnel.
• Follow established merchandising and company procedures.
• Complete assigned work efficiently and accurately.
• Represent our business professionally at all times.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and carry 30–50 pounds .
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a retail environment.
• Previous retail, stocking, bakery, grocery, or merchandising experience is preferred but not required .

Additional Earning Opportunities

From time to time, the Merchandiser may have the opportunity to cover assigned stores for other employees who are on vacation or otherwise unavailable .

These coverage opportunities will be occasional and are not expected to be a regular part of the position. Advance notice will be provided whenever possible. Additional stores may be assigned during these periods, and additional compensation will be provided for approved vacation coverage .
