Automotive Title Clerk Responsibilities:

• Process vehicle titles, registrations, and related paperwork accurately and timely.
• Verify documentation, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with DMV regulations.
• Maintain organized records of title, registration, and accounting transactions.
• Coordinate with sales, finance, and customers to obtain required documentation.
• Prepare, reconcile, and clean accounting schedules and supporting records.
• Calculate fees, process vehicle transfers, and handle repossession documentation.
• Respond to customer inquiries and support administrative office functions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience as an Automotive Title Clerk, office administrator, or similar role.
• Knowledge of vehicle title, registration, and DMV processes.
• Ability to reconcile and maintain accounting schedules with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with dealership management systems, Microsoft Office, and accounting software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; accounting or bookkeeping experience is a plus.
