Job Summary

Geisinger's Cancer Institute is seeking a Palliative Medicine Physician to join our talented team at GMC.

Job Duties

• Interview patients to obtain information such as symptoms, medical histories and family histories.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Diagnose and design a plan of treatment for injuries and/or illness.
• Prescribe or administer medications.
• Prepare, maintain and review records that include patients' histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and outcomes.
• Work in a clinical and office environment, ensuring compliance with all organization policies and procedures.

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) – required.
• Experience: Not specified.
• Certification(s) and License(s): Licensed Medical Doctor – State of Pennsylvania.
