Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and crafting personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute or chronic illnesses either independently or in conjunction with physicians (depending on credentials)

• Prescribing therapies and medications within your clinical scope

Education Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Oregon
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willing to obtain within 90 days)
