Assembler

The Assembler will perform technical tasks affiliated with testing or assembling nuclear medicine products. Key Areas of Responsibility: Assembles new or modified mechanical components for products such as electro-mechanicaland electronic assemblies. Sets up and reviews complete units and components then performs quality inspection. Analyzes and reports any deviations, issues, concerns to supervisor in relation to design orrated specifications. Follows instructions, responds to management direction. Asks for and offers help when needed. Additional tasks/projects, as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: One year certificate from college or technical school; or 1-5 years of related experience and/ortraining; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be mechanically inclined; uses intuition and experience to complement assembly. Should be highly organized and attentive to detail. Strong verbal communication skills needed to respond to others and questions appropriatelyand professionally. Able to read and interpret written information. Accepts responsibility for own actions. Applies feedback to improve performance. Must be dependable; consistently arrive at work and be on time. Observes safety and security procedures.
