Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy to address impairments and functional limitations, aiming to improve the patient’s quality of life after injury or disease
• Perform PT assessments and create treatment plans that consider age, gender, cultural differences, and patient education needs
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and document progress, adjusting plans as needed in collaboration with the care team
• Provide patient and caregiver education to maximize exercise adherence, safety, and functional outcomes
• Maintain professional standards, comply with hospital policies, and ensure patient safety during therapy sessions
• Travel-specific duties include outpatient care with inpatient float, and on-call weekend coverage 1x per month
• Travel eligibility note: Will not accept in-state travelers unless they exceed a 250-mile radius

Requirements

• Current Montana physical therapy license and BLS certification
• Degree from an American Physical Therapy Association-accredited program
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Amiable personality with sound judgment and empathetic, patient-centered approach
• Willingness to work in a SNF travel setting with outpatient and inpatient float responsibilities
• Ability to work a rotating schedule and maintain 40 hours per week
