About the Position

Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: MSP Specialty: Agency Staff Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: Variable, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, sometimes later depending on patient census Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT Certification in Clienttion Therapy Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Board-certified Clienttion Therapist Description: Under the direction of a Clienttion Oncologist and in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team, the Clienttion Therapist uses clinical skills to accurately simulate on CT simulators. Delivers, verifies, and records routine courses of treatment. Assumes shift accountability including machine warm-ups. Utilizes independent judgment and problem-solving skills in communicating with patients, families, and employees. Essential Functions: Accurately performs routine radiation treatments as prescribed by the Clienttion Oncologist. Follows, maintains, and completes the electronic patient treatment record daily. Responsible for general dose calculations. Charges correctly at the point of service on a daily basis. Assumes shift accountability for maintenance of quality services. Responsible for opening the department and competent in machine warm-ups. Completes the crash cart checklist if called in on a day the department is closed. Accurately simulates basic treatment fields in a timely manner. Collects all pertinent simulation information and enters it in the approved departmental and hospital-based record and verify system. Cuts blocks for treatment if required. Identifies the educational needs of patients and family members and implements appropriate teaching strategies or makes referrals. Actively participates in achieving and maintaining patient satisfaction scores. Cleans, disinfects, and maintains supplies and equipment in treatment and simulation rooms. When time permits, thoroughly cleans and straightens control area and treatment/simulation rooms. Required to have one call weekend per calendar year if available. Qualifications: Required: Vocational/Technical degree in a related field; graduate of an accredited Clienttion Therapy Program. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field. Certifications: - CRT-Clienttion Therapist - ARRT Certification required within 60 days. - Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certification required within 90 days.
