The Post Closing Specialist will support mortgage operations by managing post-closing loan activities , ensuring loans are complete, compliant, and ready for delivery to investors or agencies. This role involves document review, compliance audits, and resolving post-closing conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:
The Post Closing Specialist will support mortgage operations by managing post-closing loan activities , ensuring loans are complete, compliant, and ready for delivery to investors or agencies. This role involves document review, compliance audits, and resolving post-closing conditions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and audit loan closing documents to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Verify that all funding conditions have been satisfied prior to loan delivery
- Review and validate Closing Disclosure (CD) documents for accuracy and changes
- Ensure all loan documentation complies with FAMC, State, and Federal regulations
- Manage post-closing pipelines , including unpurchased loans and suspense conditions
- Coordinate with closing agents, brokers, lenders, title companies, and counties to obtain missing documents
- Follow up on final documents and outstanding conditions
- Work with borrowers to resolve loan deficiencies for insurance or guaranty (government loans)
- Perform compliance and ad hoc audits on loan files
- Conduct error trend analysis and report findings to operations teams
- Manage escrow holdback processes
- Order and track disaster inspections for affected properties
- Release funding numbers once all audits and reviews are complete
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in mortgage operations, loan processing, or post-closing functions
- Knowledge of loan documentation and closing processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with compliance audits and loan file review
- Familiarity with government loans (FHA, VA, etc.)
- Knowledge of closing disclosures (CD) and mortgage regulations
- Experience working with title companies, brokers, and lenders
Work Environment & Notes:
- Fully onsite role (5 days/week)
- Fast-paced mortgage operations environment
- Strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and deadlines
