Site Administrator – Skilled Nursing | Middlebury, VT Contract: 13 Weeks | October 12, 2026 – January 10, 2027 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Skilled Nursing Center Site Administrator to provide leadership and operational oversight for a skilled nursing facility in Middlebury, Vermont. The Site Administrator will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality, resident-centered environment while ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. This role will also contribute to the continued development and improvement of post-acute and long-term care services. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership for the skilled nursing center. Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare, state, and federal regulations. Promote high-quality, compassionate, resident-centered care. Lead continuous improvement initiatives across clinical and operational services. Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and leadership. Support employee engagement, labor relations, and staff development. Oversee operational planning, cost management, productivity, and performance. Monitor trends and requirements within long-term and post-acute care. Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve clinical, business, and organizational goals. Qualifications Vermont and/or New York Nursing Home Administrator License . Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of management experience with increasing responsibility. Management experience in skilled nursing, residential care, or assisted living. Proven leadership experience in post-acute and/or long-term care. Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, payer requirements, case management, cost management, productivity, and employee/labor relations.
