Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Onsite Project Coordinator to support field execution and project coordination activities within an Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in site coordination, field walkdowns, technical documentation, stakeholder management, project tracking, and reporting.

This role will serve as a key coordination point between client stakeholders, field verification teams, engineering/back-office teams, vendors, and site representatives to ensure smooth day-to-day execution of project activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities between client stakeholders, field teams, engineering/back-office teams, vendors, and site representatives.
• Support execution planning, including site sequencing, mobilization/demobilization, work-front readiness, permit readiness, documentation, and site access requirements.
• Coordinate and track field walkdown activities involving:
  • P&IDs
  • Plot Plans
  • Area Classification Drawings
  • Lease Flow Diagrams
  • Equipment Tags
  • Major Equipment
  • Instruments
  • Control Valves
  • PSVs
  • Equipment Nameplate Data
  • Approved Photographic References
• Ensure field teams are working with the latest approved drawings, templates, checklists, and red-line/blue-line markup practices.
• Monitor field inputs and downstream deliverables, including red-lined drawings, asset registers, PSV documentation, photo logs, discrepancy reports, query logs, and progress reports.
• Coordinate resolution of client questions, site queries, missing information, tagging discrepancies, and field-observed deviations.
• Maintain project trackers covering site readiness, document status, pending clarifications, field completion, deliverable progress, review comments, action owners, deadlines, and closure status.
• Facilitate project progress meetings and prepare concise status reports highlighting project progress, risks, dependencies, and open issues.
• Escalate blockers related to site access, permits, safety requirements, missing documentation, operational constraints, or delayed inputs.
• Coordinate with project leadership to align onsite execution with schedules, resource utilization, project tracking, and commercial requirements.
• Maintain clear scope boundaries and ensure project activities remain aligned with defined requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and other project stakeholders to support timely completion of site activities.
• Support issue resolution and ensure action items are followed through to closure.

Required Qualifications & Skills Must Have

• Experience in Project Coordination / Site Coordination / Project Engineering
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or related industrial environments
• Hands-on experience with field walkdowns
• Working knowledge of P&IDs and Plot Plans
• Strong client and stakeholder coordination skills
• Experience with project tracking, reporting, and issue resolution
• Previous onsite/field experience
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams and activities in a site environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EPC or Engineering Services
• Knowledge of equipment, instruments, control valves, and PSVs
• Experience with red-line / blue-line drawing markups
• Experience coordinating permits and site access
• Experience with vendor coordination
• Familiarity with project time-and-material tracking and project cost tracking

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Previous experience in project/site coordination
• Experience working in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, EPC, or industrial engineering environments is preferred.
