Labor and Delivery Nurse

Schedule: Nights 12 hours - 36 hours guaranteed

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery with Level 1 experience
• BLS AHA certification
• ACLS AHA certification
• NRP certification
• STABLE certification
• AWHONN certification

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor mother and baby's vital signs and well-being during labor.
• Assist in delivering babies, ensuring a safe and healthy childbirth experience.
• Provide postpartum care and education to new parents and families.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information and care activities accurately.

Compliance/Notes:

• Following the clinical interview process.
• Drug screening and background checks may be required.
• Orientation procedures will be provided.
