Overview
Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology, Plymouth, MA. This travel assignment starts 11/16/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,785 to $2,956, with guaranteed hours of 72 biweekly (approximately 36 hours per week). Shift: 4x10-hour days. Work setting: hospital unit supporting interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures, including pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure monitoring.
- Monitor telemetry, vitals, and hemodynamic status; manage medications and contrast administration per protocol.
- Assist with vascular access, sterile technique, and coordination of IR team activities; ensure radiation safety and equipment readiness.
- Document care and procedures in the electronic health record; communicate findings and changes to the IR team and family as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations, and post-discharge instructions; respond to patient needs and emergencies in a timely manner.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (MA) in good standing
- Minimum 2 years IR experience; able to pass Telemetry Competency Exam
- Current AHA BLS Certification; ACLS Certification required (AHA)
- Pass ECG/Telemetry and Medication tests during onboarding (one attempt only; 85% passing score; tests administered via Zoom prior to assignment)
- Documented professional development activities; knowledge of critical paths; charge nurse experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced IR and telemetry environment; weekend coverage for stress testing as scheduled; no on-call responsibilities
- Must reside outside 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers accepted)
