Maintenance Assistant
Cedar Haven Health Care Center | Lebanon, PA

Cedar Haven Health Care Center is seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This full-time, on-site role is essential to maintaining a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

• Full-Time

• Every Other Weekend (EOW)

• Every Other Holiday (EOH)

• Shift Differential Available

• Perform general facility maintenance, including repairs to walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, and windows

• Complete drywall repair, patching, painting, and basic carpentry work

• Handle routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs

• Move and arrange furniture as needed to complete assignments

• Coordinate maintenance activities with nursing staff when working in resident care areas

• Follow established maintenance schedules, policies, and procedures

• Maintain facility grounds, including mowing, trimming, sweeping, and general upkeep

• Replace light bulbs, including exit and overhead lighting

• Assist with the Preventative Maintenance Program to ensure all systems remain operational

• Respond to unscheduled or emergency maintenance requests as needed

• Prior experience in general maintenance and mechanical work required

• Experience with drilling, wall repair, and painting required

• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Valid driver’s license required
