Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active COTA certification with recent renewal
• Experience working with children or adolescents in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
• Understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ability to contribute to team meetings
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Adaptability to work collaboratively with occupational therapists, educators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the guidance of an OT
• Assist in developing and implementing therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Record progress and maintain accurate treatment documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to incorporate therapeutic strategies throughout the school day
• Encourage and motivate students to meet their therapeutic goals and build confidence
