Surgical Technologist

Location: Arcata, CA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday-Friday day shift, with some shared call evenings and weekends.

Job Description: The Surgical Technologist will support surgical teams in performing endoscopy cases. The position entails responsibilities in preparing and managing surgical instruments and supplies to ensure efficient procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist in the selection and preparation of surgical instruments and materials.
• Manage surgical instruments and assist during endoscopy cases.
• Adhere to safety protocols and assist with patient care during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Certification in Surgical Technology is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Tuberculosis (TB) clearance.
• Experience with endoscopy cases is mandatory.
