Quick Facts Location: Johnson City, TN (Johnson City Medical Center / Leading Facility) Start Date: Flexible, upon agreement Duration: Permanent opportunity Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; On-call weekends (1:4 ratio) Hours/Week: 40 hours/week, plus on-call duties Employment Type: Full-Time Licenses/Certifications: Board certified or eligible in Neurology, valid medical license in Tennessee or eligible jurisdictions Experience: Prior neurology clinical and emergency care experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay package: Competitive rate, negotiable based on experience Sign-on bonus: Available Insurance: Health, Dental, Life, Vision insurance options Additional: Professional malpractice insurance paid; optional overtime; focus on work/life balance, low cost of living, no state income tax What You'll Do Provide outpatient neurology consultations and follow-up care during scheduled clinics Conduct outpatient procedures and assist with clinical services Respond to emergency neurology consults and on-call emergencies, reporting within 45 minutes and available within 10 minutes by phone Participate in resident and fellow education, mentorship, and supervision aligning with accreditation standards Document patient encounters accurately and timely in accordance with medical records regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Contribute to clinical research initiatives, protocol development, and quality assurance projects What You Need Valid and active medical license in Tennessee or eligible for licensure in the state Board certification or eligibility in Neurology via the American Board of Internal Medicine Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient and emergency environment Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and resident education About the Assignment This position is with a prominent healthcare provider in Johnson City, Tennessee, known for excellent patient care and professional development opportunities.
