Position Overview:

About AT&T's Transformation and Supply Chain (TSC) Strategy Team: AT&T’s TSC Strategy Team focuses on collaborative problem-solving, strategic analysis, and analytical support to directly impact billions of dollars of AT&T’s cost structure and future investments, while driving best-in-class practices across AT&T’s vast supply chain and wireline networks.

Role and Responsibilities of Lead Business Strategy: Our Lead Business Strategy s work in small teams to support and lead projects and craft actionable, innovative recommendations for AT&T’s senior leadership. You’ll analyze the impact of industry trends, emerging technologies, macroeconomic & competitive factors, and third-party supplier spend & engagement.

You’ll Provide:

  • Thought leadership and strategic analysis on fast-paced, complex opportunities and challenges facing AT&T’s Transformation and Supply Chain organization.

  • Fact-based negotiation support, including industry analytics, competitive event strategy, and “should cost” negotiation benchmarking.

  • Best-in-class market intelligence including M&A monitoring, supplier financial health assessments, and supply chain visibility to best position AT&T for success.

  • Creative, strategic solutions to drive meaningful transformation for AT&T’s operations and cost structure.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with management consulting, analytics, strategy, or other related experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a Supply Chain related field.

  • Strategic mindset and strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to provide structured thinking to deconstruct complex problems and help advance strategic initiatives with data-driven solutions.

  • Ability to work with multiple sources of data to develop financial and operational models.

  • Strong communication (both oral and written) skills and presentation skills.

  • Effective leadership and teamwork skills working with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering against tight deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or another highly strategic/analytical role; ideally with exposure to the telecommunications or technology industries.

  • Exposure to software, mechanical, and electrical engineering concepts.

  • MBA preferred.

Compensation: Our Lead Business Strategy earn between $ 130,700 - $196,100 USD Annual in Dallas, TX. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
