Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room for an outpatient surgery center in Burlington, WI. The clinician will prepare the operating room, maintain sterile technique, sterilize and organize instruments and supplies, and support the surgical team to promote patient safety and efficient case flow. This opportunity accepts first-time travel clinicians with prior perioperative experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent CST credential.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Experience with general, GYN, ENT, urology, orthopedics, podiatry, and vascular procedures preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Ability to perform aseptic surgical techniques and use various surgical equipment.
• Willingness to float to two other nearby sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatrics experience preferred due to occasional pediatric ENT cases.
• Experience working in ambulatory/outpatient surgery settings preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:45-15:15.
• Standard schedule: 40 hours per week.
• Floating: Will float to two other local sites; weekly schedule provided showing float location.
• On-call: CST and RN on-call after cases are complete. Response time for on-call events is 30 minutes.
• Weekend/on-call rotation: Every 6th weekend (Friday afternoon-Monday morning) and one night per week.
• Orientation: 1-3 shifts based on clinician comfort.
