You’ll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.What you’ll doMaterial Handling: Load and unload trucks both inside and outside using pallet jacks, powered industrial trucks, and a small overhead jib crane to relocate parts for client shipment.Parts Picking and Staging: Accurately locate and pull parts of various sizes and materials to fill production and service orders, supporting shop staging and assisting team members with loading/unloading trucks.Inventory Management: Perform inventory cycle counts, stock checks, and daily checklist activities to maintain accurate inventory records and support stock control.Communication and Safety: Maintain good communication with team members and demonstrate a safety-minded approach, adhering to all safety protocols and training.Administrative Duties: Accurately complete all paperwork and data entry functions associated with receiving and material handling procedures.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.What you’ll bringMust-haves:Highschool/ GED requiredForklift and powered industrial truck operation experienceStrong time management and communication skillsExperience with SAP or similar inventory management systems preferredNice-to-haves:2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environmentSafety training and a strong safety mindsetSelf-driven with excellent organizational skillsAttention to detail in inventory and parts handlingExperience using overhead jib cranesBenefits:Competitive CompensationExcellent Health / Dental / Vision Options5% 401(k) Retirement MatchPaid Time Off in first year, increases with time of service11 Paid Holidays per yearRequired PPE is provided (boots, safety glasses)Why join Weir?We live our values we think safety first, do the right thing, respect each other, aim high, and delight our customers.
