Position Title: Host/Hostess Location: Kenwood Country Club Terrace Grill & Hunt Room Position Summary: The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for members and guests dining in the Terrace Grill and Hunt Room. This role is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while managing reservations, seating, and overall flow of the dining rooms. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and committed to providing exceptional member service. Key Responsibilities: Greet members and guests promptly with a professional and friendly demeanorManage reservations and waitlists using the clubs reservation systemSeat guests efficiently while balancing server sections and dining room flowCommunicate clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth serviceMaintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry areasAnswer phone calls and assist members with dining inquiries and reservationsProvide accurate information about menus, specials, and club eventsAssist with light side work as needed to support the dining team Qualifications: Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
