Contract Analyst

Contract Analyst – Procurement At TC Energy, we connect the world to the energy it needs. This position supports procurement of third‑party services through the company’s Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) platform, ensuring contracting activities align with commercial objectives and contribute to project performance and value creation. Key Responsibilities Provide contract negotiation and contract management support in alignment with SupplyChain strategies. Manage and administer contracts according to SupplyChain policies, procedures, and delegated authorities. Identify contracting risks, issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement throughout negotiation and administration. Collaborate with SupplyChain leadership, Business Unit stakeholders, AccountsPayable, internal SupplyChain teams, contractors and suppliers. Assess contract scope, schedule and performance risks; raise escalations when changes or impacts are identified. Validate and assess contractor‑submitted cost and schedule impacts in accordance with policies. Maintain complete and compliant contractual documentation, including correspondence. Monitor, evaluate and report contractor performance against KPIs. Facilitate and lead periodic contract progress and performance review meetings. Track cost savings initiatives and contract value leakage. Support evaluation of incumbent and prospective suppliers, including past performance, financial strength, market position, strategic alignment, capacity and core capabilities. Participate in supplier negotiations, communicate outcomes to stakeholders, and support final sourcing recommendations. Ensure contracts accurately reflect final negotiated terms, award decisions and approved commercial outcomes. Contribute to team KPIs and deliver results consistent with established ServiceLevelAgreements. Ensure individual compliance with training, work standards, policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications University degree in Business, SupplyChain, Finance, Engineering or related discipline. 4+ years of experience in SupplyChain Management, Procurement or Contract Administration. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of transactions in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Experience in the oil and gas industry, midstream, energy generation or construction.
