Industrial Engineer

The QTI Group is partnering with a growing, global manufacturing organization in the greater Madison area to hire their next Industrial Engineer. This position will play an integral role in the design, development and implementation of cost-effective manufacturing processes, methods and layouts. The Industrial Engineer will partner with production, maintenance and engineering teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and build production capability. Responsibilities Design, evaluate, and optimize manufacturing processes by analyzing product requirements, equipment, materials, and production methods. Improve operational efficiency through workflow analysis, facility layout planning, and implementation of lean manufacturing principles. Ensure product and process quality by developing testing methods, establishing standards, and validating manufacturing capabilities. Analyze production, labor, and material data to support cost estimation, capacity planning, and data-driven decision making. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, partnering cross-functionally to enhance safety, productivity, equipment reliability, and overall operational performance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline required 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing operation with focus on continuous improvement approaches Experience with CAD programs (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar) is preferred Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or PMP certification strongly desired #J-18808-Ljbffr
