Dental Hygienist – Part‑time (New Grads Welcome) Dexter Family Dentistry, a Heartland Dental supported office, seeks an enthusiastic dental hygienist. Minimum Qualifications Active dental hygienist license in Michigan. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Preferred Experience New graduates and experienced hygienists welcomed. Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills for preventive care and overall oral health maintenance. Clinical performance as required by the office. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds. Availability to attend periodic virtual or in‑person training sessions. Completion of a pre‑employment tuberculosis (TB) test (required for all dental office hires, except FL & TN).
