Responsibilities: Greet and engage guests in our retail showroom to understand their individual sleep needs. Build rapport and provide a personalized, customer-focused sales experience. Learn and maintain strong knowledge of our merchandise to confidently recommend appropriate products. Respond to customer questions, concerns, and objections while maintaining a positive customer experience. Assist guests throughout the purchasing process, including financing and delivery follow-up. Work diligently toward meeting and exceeding individual sales goals. Maintain professionalism and support our culture of honesty, integrity, and exceptional customer service. Utilize required hardware and software for sales transactions, training, reporting, and other job-related activities. Remain engaged, attentive, and responsive to customers throughout each shift. Compensation: This role offers a strong earning opportunity through a combination of base pay and performance incentives. The structure includes: Hourly base pay Commission on delivered sales Monthly bonus opportunities Location & Training: We provide three weeks of in-person training at one of our store locations to ensure a strong foundation in our sales approach and customer experience standards. Following training, the new hire will "float" between multiple store locations to shadow experienced sales staff and continue hands-on learning for well-rounded exposure to our culture, operations, and sales approach. After the initial few months, a store assignment will be determined based on business needs, candidate location, and overall fit. Flexibility is essential, and candidates must have reliable transportation and the ability to commute to various store locations as needed. Qualifications and Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and build rapport with customers. Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills. 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in high-end or retail sales. Professional demeanor and ability to represent the City Mattress brand in a customer-facing retail environment. College degree preferred, but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn and utilize retail technology, including tablets, POS, CRM, and inventory management systems. Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation and ability to work at multiple store locations within the designated region based on business needs.
