Job Summary

Back 2 Health Physical Therapy is seeking a Medical Scribe to join our team. In this role, you will gather and document information about patients for their doctors’ visits. Responsibilities include completing summaries of treatment sessions, charting doctor’s appointments, and operating electronic health records.

Responsibilities

Document patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and efficiently.

Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure consistent and comprehensive patient documentation and patient care delivery.

Coordinate with doctors to complete and submit medical records

Communicate professionally with patients, doctors, and healthcare staff

Complete administrative tasks as requested while adhering to all regulatory guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Assist healthcare providers treatment procedures involving ultrasound and electrical stimulation.

Assist doctor with chaperoning during private room treatments with patients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Health related field, but can be in progress, also High school diploma/GED or equivalent

Previous experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar position (recommended but not required)

Ability to take detailed notes and accurate documentation

Strong computer and transcription skills

Ability to adhere to compliance regulations and strict confidentiality requirements

Highly organized with excellent time-management skills

Ability to work well under pressure
