Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 1st Shift Entry Level Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely operating warehouse equipment, accurately picking and stacking products, preparing customer orders, and supporting shipping and receiving functions. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, eager to learn, and committed to accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.

· Pick, stack, stage, and organize products accurately to fulfill customer orders.

· Put together orders for shipment, including palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and preparing materials for carrier pickup.

· Load and unload trucks, move materials throughout the warehouse, and place products in designated storage or staging areas.

· Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying quantities, product condition, labels, and order documentation.

· Review Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and related paperwork carefully for accuracy before shipments are released or received.

· Identify and report discrepancies, damaged product, shortages, or documentation errors to a supervisor.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including aisles, staging areas, and equipment zones.

· Follow written and verbal instructions while maintaining productivity, quality, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

· Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; warehouse or forklift experience is helpful but not required.

· Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift.

· Strong attention to detail, especially when picking orders, stacking product, reviewing BOLs, and checking shipping/receiving paperwork.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a warehouse environment.

· Dependable attendance, positive attitude, and willingness to learn warehouse procedures.

· Ability to follow safety rules, company policies, and supervisor instructions.

· Basic reading, counting, and documentation skills required.

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse for the duration of the shift.

· Comfortable working around forklifts, pallet jacks, trucks, dock areas, and warehouse equipment.
