Contract Type: Travel Contract - NO LOCALS

Shift Type: Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (EOW)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in med-surg and telemetry units
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify changes, and respond quickly to keep patients safe
• Float across zone 2 locations, adapting to different acuity levels including ICU, PCU, and MS-Tele
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient-centered care plans
• Document accurately in EPIC to ensure seamless continuity of care
• Step into supportive roles when census is low, ensuring hours are met and patients always have a caring hand

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Utah or a compact state
• 2+ years of nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Willingness to float within a 60-mile radius and work every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to varied patient populations and unit environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Critical thinking and calm decision-making in fast-paced situations
