Role Description The Product & Process Sales Engineer is a full-time, remote role based in North America. This position is responsible for supporting sales efforts by translating customer needs into technically sound products and process solutions for water and wastewater applications. Day-to-day activities include reviewing customer specifications, preparing technical proposals, sizing and selecting equipment, preparing and delivering technical presentations, responding to customer inquiries, providing technical support during the business development cycle, and collaborating with engineering, operations, and product teams to develop cost-effective solutions. The role involves conducting site visits, participating in customer meetings, developing proposals and quotations, participating in project review meetings, and providing technical guidance throughout the sales cycle. The Product & Process Sales Engineer also tracks market trends, identifies new product opportunities, and contributes to continuous improvement of RSE’s offerings and processes.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Strong Sales Engineering skills, including the ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.
• Process engineering experience in fluid systems, water or wastewater treatment processes, or related industrial applications.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret technical data, performance metrics, and customer requirements and convey to clients through presentations, quotations and proposals.
• Customer interface skills to build relationships, manage accounts, and support customers through the full project development lifecycle.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers
• Solid project management skills to coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables for project initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with CAD tools, engineering design software, and basic data analysis tools and basic understanding of digital monitoring or control systems is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects and deadlines on-site.
• Ability to work remotely, visit customer locations as needed, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
