Consultant Dietitian

Consultant Dietitian - Full-Time | Dallas South Region Join a growing, family-oriented healthcare consulting team as a Consultant Dietitian serving skilled nursing, long-term care, and transitional care facilities throughout the South Dallas region. This is a field-based role offering autonomy, flexibility, and a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities. What You'll Do Provide clinical nutrition and food service consultation to multiple healthcare facilities Typically visit one facility per day; occasionally cover two facilities in one day with approximately four hours spent at each location Travel throughout an assigned territory (mileage reimbursement provided) Build strong relationships with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Manage an average caseload of 12-20 patients per day Qualifications Current Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian (RD, LD) in Texas Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, ideally in long-term care Strong communication, organizational, and independent work skills Willingness to travel between facilities is required Board Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition (CSG) is a plus Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Flexible work hours, generally between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM, allowing flexibility to avoid peak traffic Schedules are typically provided 30 days in advance, with occasional adjustments based on facility needs and individual flexibility No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities Compensation & Benefits $32-$38/hour PTO 401(k) with company match Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Mileage reimbursement Continuing education support RD/LD reimbursement Professional growth opportunities Interview Process Typically 3-4 steps: Phone, Zoom, in-person, and written assessment Feedback provided within 1-2 business days Immediate start available Ideal candidates are self-motivated, dependable, organized, outgoing, professional, and comfortable traveling throughout the Dallas South region to support multiple long-term care and transitional care facilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr Protouch Staffing
