Senior Accountant Financial Reporting

Job Title: Sr. Accountant/Lead Accountant SEC Reporting Compensation: $115k-$135k base + 20% bonus Job Type: Full Time Why You Should Apply: Large, publicly traded energy infrastructure company with strong stability and national presence High-visibility role supporting corporate consolidation, financial reporting, and close activity across a complex public company environment Opportunity to work within a large, acquisitive, asset-heavy organization with multiple entities, joint ventures, and operating segments Great long-term growth path Opportunity to gain experience with SAP, BPC, Workiva/Wdesk, and complex consolidation/reporting processes within the energy sector What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of relevant accounting, audit, financial reporting, or consolidation experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA or CPA-track background strongly preferred Public accounting experience with Big 4, Top 10, or large regional firm preferred Experience with publicly traded companies, SEC clients, or large complex corporate environments preferred Strong understanding of US GAAP, month-end close, consolidations, intercompany activity, and financial statement preparation Experience with SAP, BPC, Workiva/Wdesk, or similar reporting/consolidation systems is a plus Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large sets of financial data Ability to analyze financial results, identify variances, research accounting issues, and communicate findings clearly Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced reporting environment Strong communication skills and ability to partner across accounting, finance, operations, and external reporting teams What You’ll Be Doing: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation and financial reporting processes across Energy Transfer and related business units Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and supporting schedules tied to the corporate close process Assist with consolidated financial statement preparation and internal reporting deliverables Support intercompany accounting, eliminations, entity-level reporting, and consolidation adjustments Partner with GL accounting teams, SEC reporting, technical accounting, and operational finance groups to ensure accurate and timely reporting Assist with quarterly and annual reporting support, including schedules and documentation used in external reporting and audit processes Research and resolve accounting/reporting issues related to consolidation activity, entity reporting, and financial statement presentation Work with SAP, BPC, Workiva/Wdesk, and Excel to prepare reporting packages, tie-outs, and supporting analysis Support external audit requests by preparing PBC schedules, responding to follow-up questions, and ensuring supporting documentation is complete Help improve reporting processes, close timelines, reconciliations, and consolidation workflows as the company continues to grow #J-18808-Ljbffr Primary Recruiting Services
