The firm values quality over quantity, fostering strong relationships within both the plaintiff and defense communities.Responsibilities:• Handle discovery processes, including conducting and defending depositions.• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.• Represent clients during court appearances and hearings.• Manage cases with autonomy based on experience level, ranging from smaller matters to high-value litigation.• Track billable hours with a minimum requirement of 1500 annually.• Collaborate with colleagues during weekly team meetings and through digital communication platforms.• Contribute to high-quality client service in both single-plaintiff and class action cases.• Maintain a detail-oriented approach and uphold the firm's reputation in the legal community.• Participate in firm-sponsored activities, such as team lunches and discussions.• Work on employment law matters, including California labor law cases.Requirements• Must hold a valid license to practice law in California.• At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation or employment law.• Strong skills in conducting depositions and making court appearances.• Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and pleadings effectively.• Familiarity with employment litigation and California labor law.• Experience in class action litigation is highly preferred.• Strong interest in plaintiff work, particularly for candidates transitioning from defense.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment.Job typePerm
