The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and profitability of the restaurant. This role oversees all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial results, and a positive team culture. The General Manager will lead by example, develop staff, maintain operational standards, and drive sales while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management
• Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, hospitality, and safety.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and labor regulations.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to maintain cleanliness and operational excellence.
• Leadership & Team Development
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop restaurant team members and managers.
• Create and maintain a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
• Manage employee scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels while controlling labor costs.
• Foster employee engagement and retention through effective leadership and communication.
• Financial Management
• Manage restaurant budgets, P&L statements, and key financial metrics.
• Drive revenue growth through sales-building initiatives and community engagement.
• Control food, beverage, labor, and operating costs to meet profitability goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee purchasing to minimize waste and shortages.
• Analyze operational reports and implement action plans to improve performance.
