Job Description For: BLENDING UTILITY 

Division/Department: Blending 

Location: Grandview, WA 

Job Title: Blending Utility 

Reports To: Blending Manager 

• Salary/Wage- Refer to Job Classification Wage Detail
• Type of Position: Full-Time
• Hours: 40+/week: Hourly

GENERAL DESCRIPTION  

Blending utility personnel will, under the direction of the Blending Technician, perform a variety of general tasks related to food processing. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, labelling finished product, manifesting seals, lining drums, building totes, packaging product in drums/totes/pails, cleaning drums and general clean-up. Will be required to cross train as a filler operator, fork lift driver and operate the CIP system. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Positive, team oriented attitude.
• A willingness to do whatever the company needs including, but not limited to:
• Preparation of packaging materials.
• Packaging of product in drums/totes/pails.
• General cleanup or maintenance of the facility.
• Washing and moving drums.
• Labeling packed product and manifesting seals.
• Ability to work safely around equipment
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

• Forklift certification is required.
• Understanding of GMP policies and food safety.
• Good math, reading, writing, analytical, and verbal skills
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Basic computer skills

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS  

• High School Diploma and/or equivalent preferred.
