FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Position Type: Temp to Hire

Position Hours: 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate : $20.00/hour

Location: Hebron, OH

Job Overview:

Our client is hiring Forklift Operators for their warehouse facility in Hebron, Ohio.

Job Summary:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials and products. Your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts in a safe and responsible manner to move and stack materials, products, and equipment
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions
• Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and containers
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and forklift usage
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize workflow and productivity

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center setting
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management

Working Conditions:
This position is based in our warehouse facility, which provides a climate-controlled environment. The work involves standing for extended periods, lifting and maneuvering heavy objects, and operating machinery.
