Laboratory Technician-Food Science/Nutrition Science

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Project Specialist to support ingredient quality and supplier change management activities within a regulated food and nutrition environment. This role is responsible for ensuring ingredient compliance, managing supplier notifications, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities Manage supplier change notifications and track progress through completion Coordinate cross-functional assessments to evaluate quality and compliance impacts of supplier changes Support ingredient qualification activities to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements Conduct supplier and manufacturing documentation reviews and quality audits Collaborate with research and development, procurement, operations, and quality teams to maintain quality standards Analyze quality data and prepare reports on project status, risks, and performance metrics Communicate project updates, outcomes, and potential risks to stakeholders Support implementation of approved supplier-related process changes Maintain accurate documentation to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier quality and change management processes Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition Science, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline Experience working in a regulated food, nutrition, or ingredient manufacturing environment Knowledge of ingredient quality standards and regulatory requirements Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications Experience with supplier quality management programs Experience with ingredient sourcing or supply chain processes Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation controls Benefits The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable. #J-18808-Ljbffr Collabera
