Safety Conscience Heavy Equipment OperatorSedilia Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscience Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team in Castle Rock Colorado.PAY:$26- $31 per hour.Every hour after 40 is paid overtime.Monthly safety bonus rewarded for safe operating.WHY YOU NEED TO JOIN US:CULTURE: It's a Great place to work! We keep our promises to our customers and our employees.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :•Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor•Spreading daily cover using a Dozer•Excavating soil using a excavator•Maintaining haul roads using a grader•Hauling soil with an articulated dump truck•Work in a fast paced, team environment•Follow safe operating practices•Learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer serviceWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:•Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds.•The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
