A busy Level II Trauma Center in Webster Texas is seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join its experienced Emergency Department team. Level II Trauma Center

EMR: Meditech

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a broad spectrum of emergency medical conditions

Manage high-acuity medical and traumatic emergencies

Perform emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine practice

Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations

Stabilize critically ill and injured patients

Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to deliver timely, evidence-based patient care

Accurately document patient encounters using Meditech

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)

Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure

Current DEA registration

ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, as required

#AAS
